Part of what makes Youth Line Forum  a  unique organization are the opportunities available for all young people from all backgrounds to participate in our work in different ways. We sit down with each of our staff  to develop a customized work plan to best utilize their experience and skills and ensure a fulfilling experience for all. 

What we offer:

Skill, Connection and Opportunities: Equip you with the skills and opportunities that you need to deliver on your job and realize your goals. We will not look at your experience but your passion and potential to deliver.

Regional Exposure: You will have a chance to learn from our partners across the East African Community as a Region and beyond, where possible, you will get a chance to travel and work in one of the countries as part of our exchange program.

Time and Resources. We work with young people, who are continuing to learn. We offer 10 days of study leave and support for your continued learning in the job.

Safe Space: we provide our people with a safe place where they can share their ideas without fear of repercussions, and live without facing discrimination or harm. We directly work to address specific needs, which often go unseen and unheard in daily life.

Leave.You will be entitled to at least 21 days of annual leave, plus public holidays. For every New Year with us, you will get an extra day of leave up to 30 days. We give four months maternity leave, three weeks paternity leave, Unpaid leave, 7 days wedding leave, We also celebrate birthdays and you will get an extra day off on your birthday!

Flexible Working.  All factors Constant, you get a day to work from home every two weeks, so that you can have a healthy work life balance. We also have varied working hours that you will be asked to choose from once you have been accepted.

Dedicated Mentor: As part of our Leadership Academy and Graduate Internship Program, we are building a database of mentors that our young people can always choose from.

Fun: We have fun. Eat, Laugh and ‘go out’ together every now and then. We play music dance and scream! You will love us.
